My Story:
When I come to work I want to feel like I can make a difference. I want to feel like my time is well spent and that I contribute to the success of the company. Working at The Co-operators - “a member of, and contributor to, a strong co-operative community” gives me the satisfaction of knowing my work matters because I work for more than just an insurance company; I work for Credit Unions and for Co-ops and I work for the communities in which they serve.
One of the greatest privileges I have in working at The Co-operators is the abundance of volunteer opportunities and sponsorship benefits flowing from a company committed to the sustainable development of communities all across the country. From serving sandwiches at the food bank to being the 13th man at a Riders game; from playing on touch football teams to enjoying the Regina Symphony Orchestra; from organizing a chilli contest for charity to cheering on the Pats in our corporate skybox; from handing out prizes at Wiserider to attending a gala event at the Hotel Saskatchewan, my job takes me way beyond 9 to 5.
