The Opportunity
The Co-operators is looking for a General Insurance Advisor in our Maple Ridge, BC office. Becoming an General Insurance Advisor is a great place to start a long and rewarding career in the insurance industry. It’s a team environment where you can enhance your experience while discovering different aspects of the business.
Our General Insurance Advisors are insurance professionals trained in client service, and provide the highest level of service available anywhere in the industry. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and develop through internal training programs and the support to obtain your insurance licenses.
As a General Insurance Advisor, you’ll identify prospects in both personal and business markets, determine needs and as a trusted insurance advisor make informed product recommendations. You’ll play a key role in developing the Agency operations through outbound prospecting, client contact and sales activities.
Your Qualifications
Strong customer service and sales experience and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Sales experience or related marketing experience is preferred. A post-secondary education and comfort in a technology dependent environment. You have a general insurance license or are willing to obtain this license upon hire.
