Our dedication to your continued development shows in our investment in training programs, paid tuition and leadership programs. Year-over-year, on average, we spend over $700 per staff member on education.
Professional Insurance Designations
We are proud to have one of the highest percentages in the industry of staff achieving a professional insurance designation, including Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI), to name just a few. We help to support this achievement through paid tuition fees, paid study days and cash awards upon completion. As a result of our commitment to these programs, we were recognized with the LOMA Excellence in Education Award.

Continued Education and Coaching
Our approach to learning includes a blend of e-learning, classroom learning and coaching. Our learning and development teams deliver a number of programs to build skills in a variety of areas including coaching, customer service, communication and other competency development programs, as well as second language programs in French and English and insurance-specific programs.
Leadership Development
Developing the emerging and current leaders of our organization is one of our top priorities. To supplement external education, we have created a number of leadership programs that will give you the opportunity to network with your peers and receive mentoring from senior executives.
Career Planning
Realizing your career potential is easier with a choice of workshops and online programs to help you plan ahead, and an internal online job posting database that lists available positions and their required competencies. You’ll be able to attend internal career fairs and panels in various locations across the country, which highlight the many opportunities available in our organization. You’ll have the chance to ask questions related to your career path, prepare for interviews and learn organizational best practices.
