A Better Partnership

SANDY

The Co-operators has been in business for a very long time. They built their business on values that are very similar to mine, they put clients at the forefront of all their decision making—their products are certainly a testament to that.

MIKE

Although we’re exclusive agents we still have The Co-operators behind us every step of the way with everything we do. The great thing about it is that we represent one of the largest Canadian owned multi-line insurance groups. So that’s probably one of the greatest reasons why I choose an agency—even though it’s my own business—I have that company right there every step of the way.

CHRIS

I call them my team. We have a personal lines specialist who help with training with our staff with the home and the auto insurance.

MIKE

If we need marketing done we have the superior marketing team that can help us with any project we want.

DAVID

They help us out with our training to make sure that we’re not only trained but also the staff is trained.

CHRIS

We have in-house claims people so if a customer of mine has a problem with a claim I can phone and most of the time I know who it is that I’m dealing with, and you just don’t get that with other organizations.

MIKE

When I’m calling someone in Guelph or Regina, and even though I’ve never met them in person, it’s like I’ve known them all along. I think that says a lot for the company and the management group.

SENTHOORAN

The Co-operators is truly different as the large, big corporations go. It really has a true family feel to it.

MIKE

We have a group of seven agents in our province and we’re probably best friends. Our families hang out and we share stories and share successes.

SENTHOORAN

It’s not my office versus someone else’s office. We, as a collective whole, are in this together and we have a vested interest in everyone doing better.

MIKE

There are opportunities for people with The Co-operators that they might not have with other insurance companies. Whether it’s in Tignish, PEI, population 800 people, or now in Quebec or in Northern New Brunswick—we have offices basically everywhere. Whether they’re small or medium or larger sized offices there are opportunities right here in our backdoor that are available to us.

SENTHOORAN

We enjoy what we do and we’re proud of what we do. And I think that really speaks towards the whole Co-operators family mentality where we feel we belong to something greater than just our own individual office.
